Great job to the modder(s) who made it.Įdited by marinchev, 31 December 2016 - 12:14 AM. I know shes a quest giver so the only way it may be possible is once you finish her quests she could have one. Has anyone tried to do this or does anyone have any insight on the drawbacks of doing it. Might as well sell them to Trash Can Car. The Mariner as a Companion - posted in Fallout 4 Mod Requests: I was playing through Far Harbor for the 10th time and realized I have often thought The Mariner would make an interesting companion. Mods are easy to make with very few exceptions, and generally, anytime you add a mod, you are upgrading.
Thought I'd share this workaround here on the forums, case there are some people who didn't know about this framework. No reason to carry them around once you have enoughs settlements linked and enough people scavenging. Hey - I did say second-best, right?Īnyway, it's still good enough for me - I'm currently rollin' with her and MacCready all over the Wasteland. Except for the Romancing and affinity system, though. You CAN actually use the Unlimited Companion Framework to recruit her and you can customize her gear, give her orders, basically like any legit companion in the game. Of course - she'll never be a fully forged companion with affinity and romance options, but. That's understandable, since what you suggested could actually prove a decent bit hard to mod. Seeing how nobody took you up on your awesome idea, we'll have to cope with its second-best.
But hey - PolloGuy, if you're still interested, there IS a way.
